DOLE conducts Labor Education talks at SM Tarlac 

The Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) in partnership with SM City Tarlac conducts free labor education seminar to the mall’s tenants, affiliates and partner agencies on Monday in celebration for the 121st Labor Day.

Chief Labor and Employment Officer Ms. Aurita L. Laxamana said that conducting Labor Education Seminar is as important as having job fairs for it will strengthen and protect the rights of both the employees and their respective employers.

The main discussion on the general labor standards, latest issuances, and advisories was tackled by Labor and Employment Officer III Ms. Princess Labanan, followed plenary discussion where the attendees are encouraged to give questions and clarifications.

The seminar was well attended by 200 participants. "Pabahay, Bilihing Abot-Presyo, Benepisyo ng Matatag na Trabaho Para sa Manggagawang Pilipino" is the Labor Day theme for this year.
